THE MUSIC OF THE COSMOS

The Cloaked Monk’s, http://cloakedmonk.com/, MarchChallenge prompt for the 18th is “Cosmos.”

THE MUSIC OF THE COSMOS
by Mike Patrick

Louder than the hum of SETI’s* ears
the music of the cosmos roars.
From corners of the universe
the hidden source of music pours.

From Hubble’s** magic imaging
come pictures of the spirals’ dance.
Beginning with a glorious bang,
Could it have only been by chance?

Like square-dance skirts and petticoats,
a rainbow colored, flashing sight
appears a thousand ways; and so,
tis thus the cosmos grace the night.
